Vacancies
A vacancy did exist at Jonathan Feedham Court in October 2025 with applications to be made by 17th October 2025. That vacancy has now been filled.
We had a vacancy at Jonathan Feedham Court and anyone already living in Wivenhoe, or having close relatives living here, in need of a home who is aged over 60 years of age could apply. They may be either single or a couple.
The homes at Jonathan Feedham Court comprise one decent-sized bedroom; a bathroom with shower, and a kitchen with a dining area which flows into a small lounge. Off the kitchen there is a small utility room. Heating is provided by radiators in each room and a small gas boiler.
The front door opens onto a courtyard, where there is seating and is shared with the residents of the other 6 homes. It is not unusual to see other residents sitting on the 4 benches, especially if the sun is shining.
At the rear there is a small garden which backs on to Wivenhoe Woods.
The home does not have any furniture although it will come with new carpets throughout. It does have a cooker though. The property is being completely redecorated throughout.
The trustees called for applications by the 17th October 2025. Please note that this selection process is now CLOSED. We received a great many applications from people in need of a home here in Wivenhoe.
